At this time, we have a waitlist for all classes. To get on the waitlist, please send us your name, phone number, your child’s age and birthday, and any scheduling restrictions. As spots open up, we will work our way down the waitlist in order of the date the inquiry was received and offer spots in age appropriate classes (we are not taking specific class requests at this time). Meet Our Coaches!
Coach Elise
Owner & Coach

Hi! I’m Coach Elise.
I began coaching gymnastics as a high school student and quickly realized it was more than just a job—it was my passion. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to build a program of my own. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to coach gymnastics, soccer, and teach yoga across the United States, Australia, and Central America, gaining a wide range of experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Special Education from San Francisco State University, and completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Yatra Yoga. I’ve also continued to expand my knowledge through Regional Gymnastics Congresses, clinics, and ongoing education in fitness, child development, and movement.
In 2016, I founded Progression Gymnastics as a mobile program in Tulare County. What started small grew into a 10,000-square-foot facility. Although we made the difficult decision to close during the COVID-19 pandemic, my passion for this work never wavered. In 2022, I relaunched Progression Gymnastics on the Town Green, and in January 2024, we proudly moved into our current home at 7798 Bell Road.
My mission is to positively influence every child I work with by teaching gymnastics, fitness, yoga, and dance in a way that fosters confidence, joy, and a lifelong love of movement.
Outside of the gym, I’m a proud mom to my son Leo, a wife to my husband Spencer, and a pet parent to our dog Rory—who many of our families know and love—as well as our two cats Merrigold and Poppy. In my free time, I enjoy writing, spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga and meditation, and traveling.
Coach Anastasiia
Manager, Coach, and Team Director

Hello, I’m Coach Anastasiia! I started participating in competitive gymnastics when I was 5 years old and by the time I was 12, I had earned the title of Master of Sports in Ukraine. That is the equivalent of Level 8-9 in the US. My favorite events were beam and bars, and gymnastics gave me strength, discipline, and confidence that still guide me today. I also participated in boxing for 10 years and I got 3rd place in the World Championship and the Europe Championship. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physical Education. I have been coaching gymnastics for 3.5 years. I’ve attended the Region 1 Gymnastics Congress, where I learned drills, coaching technique, and child development from the leaders in our industry. I am a certified USAG Team Coach and have completed the judging course for Xcel Bronze and Silver. I truly love teaching and always try to create classes that are both fun and productive. I believe in finding the right balance between having fun and helping athletes improve, so they stay motivated while continuing to grow. For me, coaching is not about skills-it’s about building confidence, teamwork, and a love for the sport.
I love working with all ages and skill levels and I am excited to help develop the Xcel team program at Progression Gymnastics. In my free time, I like going to the ocean, hiking, and traveling.
Coach Lucia
Kindergym, Academy, and Team Coach

Hi, I’m miss Lucia. I have always had a passion for gymnastics, dancing, and singing. I grew up in Spain, lived there for 7 years and then moved to California. My passion for dancing started when I was 4 years old, and has continued to be for the past 15 years. I became a competitive gymnast at 8 years old and stopped when I was 12. I went to many competitions and practiced for 9 hours every week. I am majoring in psychology at The Santa Rosa Junior College. In my free time I like to relax, read rom-coms, and watch my favorite show which is victorious. I also love the ocean, hiking, and being with family. My goals for being a coach is to influence the kids in a healthy way, make them laugh and smile, and encourage them to have a good relationship with not just gymnastics but with other sports as well. I hope I can make these wonderful students build a healthy relationship with themselves and see how amazing they truly are.
Coach Brittany
Kindergym Coach

Hi, I’m Miss Brittany! I bring many years of experience as a preschool teacher, along with a strong background in child development and a genuine passion for helping young children grow, learn, and thrive. My approach is rooted in understanding each child’s developmental needs and creating a nurturing, engaging environment where they can build confidence and foundational skills.
As a child, I was involved in cheerleading and did gymnastics, which sparked my lifelong appreciation for movement, coordination, and teamwork. Today, I love incorporating that experience into my work, especially in leading our Parent Participation/Rollie Pollie Program and working with our Kindergym students. It’s incredibly rewarding to support children as they develop motor skills, social connections, and a love for active play, all while guiding parents in being an important part of that journey.
Outside of the classroom, I’m a proud mom of four wonderful children and share my life with a supportive and loving husband.
Coach Aileen
Kindergym and Academy Coach

Hello, I am coach Aileen! I was 6 years old when I started going to gymnastics. I took regular classes for a few years then I got the opportunity to be on the competitive gymnastics team. I continued competing in gymnastics for more than 10 years at Santa Rosa Gymnastics Center. I am no longer competing in gymnastics, but I am thankful I got the opportunity to coach other kids. It brings me a lot of joy and makes me feel more connected. My favorite events were floor and bars, but I always enjoyed the floor more than anything. In my last year of competing I scored a 10 on floor after getting injured that same day on beam. My favorite thing about floor was being able to express your emotions through the dancing and it always felt more freeing, it was my way of escaping. I am currently on my last year of high school then will be attending Santa Rosa Junior College and I am thinking about majoring in nutrition and dietition. I have been excited to connect with every child that walks into my class. My goal as a coach is to put a smile on everyones face, be able to share my love for gymnastics, teach new skills and for the students to enjoy themselves here at gymnastics! Most importantly I want everyone to have fun and be happy about being here at gymnastics. In my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends, relax, travel, and explore new places.
Coach Ashley
Kindergym and Academy Coach

Hello! I am coach Ashley! I was about 5 years old when I started my gymnastics journey. After a couple years of taking regular recreational classes I joined a competition team. I continued to compete in gymnastics for around 10 years at Santa Rosa Gymnastics Center. I am currently still taking classes, but no longer competing. My favorite events were floor and beam. I also have always had a passion for dance. I was on my school’s advanced dance team for 3 years of high school. This helped me tie my two favorite sports; gymnastics and dance together as the floor routines in gymnastics could include many of the same skills from dance. I am now attending college at Santa Rosa Junior College, where I am majoring in kinesiology. It has been so exciting to be able to build bonds with each and every child that I coach! I love getting to experience the kids having fun and learning new things in class as well as making new friends. I love being able to pass down my knowledge of gymnastics. I hope to put a smile on each and every student’s face during class and leave a positive impact on them! Outside of coaching gymnastics, I love to workout, hike, and spend time with my friends and family. I also love finding a new tv series to sit down and relax and binge watch
